Accessibility Statement
This is an English translation of the Bulgarian text. If the two differ, the Bulgarian version applies.
We want photopoint.bg to be easy to use for everyone – including people who use a screen reader, only a keyboard or screen magnification.
What we aim for
We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.
What we have done
- Pages have a clear heading structure, and the menu, the form and the gallery can be used with a keyboard alone.
- The fields in the request form have labels, and errors are shown as text next to the field.
- Photos have a short text description; decorative images are skipped by screen readers.
- Videos do not start with sound. When the device’s ‘reduce motion’ setting is on, the videos in the gallery do not start playing by themselves on hover.
- The website works with enlarged text and on a phone.
Known limitations
- Event videos have no subtitles and no detailed text description – only a short caption for each.
- Some of the videos are still on Vimeo and are shown in its player, whose accessibility is outside our control.
- The descriptions of some of the older photos are general, and we are gradually adding detail to them.
How we assessed the website
